A breeze of summer, scrumping for apples and scraping mustard onto roughly cut slices of bread. Hare’s leap through the undergrowth, I pickup rope and twine from the side street. Over ripe plums are sent back to the earth, covered and ready for decay, to perfume the soil. The ground pushes out gold coins and iron angels.
This collection has been a labour of love, as is all our collections, in a summer of balance between a kind and caring community and a world that seems to just get harder and harder for everyone. Romance and adventure were the two keywords that ran through the inspiration stage of designing and I wanted the collection to have a wild open hearted feel.
