Made from upcycled souviner teatowels, the Welsh Lovespoon Corset features a beautifully vibrant print of traditional Welsh lovespoons, a practice of carving a wooden spoon for your loved ones. With a short v-shaped silhouette supported by upcycled fruit packaging boning and back lacing that pulls you in at the waist and lifts the bust up. Lined in a deadstock wool weave, donated to us by local ethical brand Sula.

Due to the dimensions of the teatowel, the print placement can differ between the sizes. If ordering the large or xlarge size option the back panels will be made from the same wool lining fabric.
Care Info
Dryclean or Hand wash only, use a delicates or hand wash laundry soap in warm water and hang out in a ventilated area to dry.
To best preserve the shape of the dress either hang up or lay the item flat when storing.

To find the best size for you, please use the measurements below to inform your choices. For corsets I recommend measuring your bust (over the nipples) and waist (smallest part of your waist/around the belly button), and if you fall in-between sizes, choosing a size down to achieve the tight look, the lacing means it can fit larger.
If your bust fits into one size but waist fits another I suggest using your waist measurement as the shaping on the bust allows for large or smaller sizes and still allows for support. If you have a larger bust or are worried you can always add a note and I’ll try to adjust the pattern as best I can.
Xsmall - Bust 28” - 31” Waist 22” - 25”
Small - Bust 32”- 35” Waist 26”- 29”
Medium - Bust 36” - 39” Waist 30” - 33”
Large - Bust 40” - 42” Waist 34” - 37”
Xlarge - Bust 43” - 45” Waist 38” - 41”
Currently my sizes go up to a Xlarge but if you require a larger size please use the contact form with your measurements and I can make a custom order for you, I won’t charge extra but it may add a few days onto the production wait time to grade the patterns.
